meep, it is fun. i just get a bit chilled when i see one of those ghost bikes around.

i dont always drive on willamette or in exhaust. there are the trails, too. but its just great to take off everytime i feel like going somewhere in town.

my lungs are mostly working against the year or two lately i've grown too sedentary. so its okay. even now i feel my body and lungs growing stronger. thats the great thing about a healthy body. it tends to respond to the work and environmental challenge you give it.

Great post, Nez. Love the action sequence, damn that sounds like quite a wipeout! but you know me, I especially appreciate the reflection. Yep, feeling you on social networking technology, all the way through. It's really important, for me, to remain clear about what these tools are and are not, how I want to use and interact with them and how I don't. Otherwise things get even more confusing than they already are.

Cheers, 'mano. We'll be knocking back cocktails in person soon enough. :-)

that sounds fun! A city can only be "bike-friendly" if everyone stops driving imo. I think your lungs would benefit from a lessening of exhaust.
Admittedly, it's pretty fun to ride a little recklessly - I have a touring bike so tricks are not as easy, but on a trip to Cali I learned how to jump curbs. There is something awesome about doing BMX stunts with a mountain bike...
