taking a stand (in front of the sink)

i almost tricked myself into thinking i was being principled with my dishes

i said that’s it, i’m not using any more clean dishes and when i need one, i’ll wash one of the dirty ones

and then i realized that i had no clean dishes left

so that sort of took the thunder out of my bold declaration
