give it away
like a dark drop
on the tongue
a sting of acid
aftertaste of electric
stomach rise
bile
i accept this communion with a smile
let the tensions twitch and ebb
like scorpion rot explanations snaking out
from under the rusted love-worn shed
shuddering their shuttling
away and slithering
under the wet sandcrescentshadows
stickered to your guilty fingers
thank you for this anger
when its gone may there be nothing
nothing at all upon nothing
