candyman, indeed.

the other day i bit into something, oh yeah a piece of stale BREAD and my tooth broke in half! i was just amazed. it didn’t hurt the slighest bit, which was sort of surreal, and it felt to my tongue that it broke in a strange way so i walked into the bathroom and peered into my mouth. it was the oddest thing. it looked like i had a tooth inside my tooth. or…a thick candy shell around a smaller tooth.

first i thought to myself do i have a tooth coming in under my tooth?  but eventually i realized that it was a crown that had broken. the porcelain looks very real, even up close. but i already lost that tooth. unfortunately, that crown will cost a thousand or so? to replace. wheeee.
