when i feel stressed to the point where i’m looking for a rock to crush my own head under, i put on take me home country road  by toots and the maytals. i heard it first  when i was about 7 or 8 especially. probably later, too. but it does take me right back. smoothes out all the creases for a minute.

never is a very soothing one, too. quite diggable. rousing, even, when all is said and done.
