i have the town’s most popular garbage dumpster outside my window! at least i’m on the second floor, damn! it’s the bakery’s dumpster. people going by ALL DAY grabbing bread loaves out of the dumpster. people you’d never guess by appearance. all sorts. well-groomed, short hair, everyday persons. eating bread out of a dumpster.

i mean at least provide a clean looking, sanitary container instead of a garbage dumpster if it’s a constant flow of food from the bakery to the street! why does free food need to be stigmatized? why are we throwing away food that people want? why are we pretending it’s being thrown out? we all know people are eating it the moment it’s in there!
