funny…sometimes i save a newzy internix movie to watch when i have a minute, that is, just keep the browser window open for later, and then forget it in the process of what i’m doing. and then i find it later and the moment’s gone and i’m like “why would i want to sit through this?” and the interest suddenly doesn’t seem up to the distate i feel at listening to one or another talking head pontificate about this or that so i close it.

it reminds me of the trick i learned to play on myself when i’m in a mall and sometimes tend to start  spending wildly (rare occasion). when i feel that impulse to buy something come over me, i walk out of the store and back into the body of the mall. most of the time, the impulse relaxes when i’m back out in the flow. if it doesn’t, i go back and buy it. but it saves me a lot of money. i guess online, i’m saving myself some adrenaline. somethin’.
